Hello, and welcome back!

It’s been a while since my last update, but I’m excited to reconnect and share some amazing news with you. For those who are new or need a refresher, I’m Liz, an equine photographer based in the stunning Peak District. My passion? Capturing the magical bond between horses and their humans in timeless, beautiful images.

Since stepping away from the corporate world, I’ve immersed myself in photography and the beauty of the natural world around me. Living right next to The Roaches and Three Shires Head provides endless inspiration, and when I’m not snapping photos of horses in motion or those intimate, quiet moments between horse and rider, you’ll find me wandering the moors capturing the ever-changing light and moods of the landscape.

My Journey: Photography, Horsemanship, and Beyond

My love for good horsemanship has grown deeper over the years, even though I don’t own a horse myself. I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from incredible trainers, including Sean Coleman, who have shown me the fascinating parallels between training horses, working with animals, and connecting with people.

I’ve also embarked on a new adventure—training as an Alexander Technique (AT) teacher. At first, this might seem worlds away from photography or horsemanship, but the goals are strikingly similar. Both AT and horsemanship focus on balance, freedom of movement, and releasing tension for greater ease and connection. Just like the way we guide horses to move fluidly and with grace, we can apply the same principles to our own bodies and the way we interact with others.

Exciting News: The Horsemanship Showcase 2024

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be exhibiting at the Horsemanship Showcase again this year! It’s one of my favourite events, where I get to reconnect with so many wonderful people who share my love of horses and the art of horsemanship.

If you’re attending, please stop by to say hello! I’ll be offering a 20% discount on my standard photoshoot packages if you book during the show. And for a little extra excitement, you’ll have the chance to win a photoshoot—just like last year’s winner, Aless, and her stunning horse, Storm!

Why a Photoshoot?

Owning a horse isn’t just a hobby—it’s a lifelong love affair. A photoshoot is a perfect way to capture those golden moments you share with your equine partner. Whether it’s for you, a loved one, or a special gift, preserving these memories today means you can relive them tomorrow.

Let’s Create Something Beautiful

I can’t wait to see everyone at the Horsemanship Showcase, where we’ll celebrate the beauty of horses, the power of connection, and the joy of photography. Be sure to come by for a chat, check out my work, and maybe even book a session to capture your own cherished memories.

Until then, thank you for being part of my journey. I look forward to creating more beautiful moments with you!

Warm wishes,
Liz
