FAQ

What happens if it rains?

As we all know the weather can be very unpredictable. We will keep a close eye on it up to the day of the shoot. If it does end up raining, we can always reschedule for another day.

It is important that you wear clothes that will give your images the feel and look that you are hoping for, and also the styles that you look and feel great in. Don’t worry though if you are not quite sure, or can’t decide on an outfit. I will provide advice both during the pre-shoot consultation and on the day itself. I generally suggest that we pick three to four outfits to give you lots of choice and not limit you to just one look or style.

A smart clean bridle or head collar is always recommended, with a neutral coloured lead-rope (black, brown or navy). A leather headcollar looks very effective but safety is paramount, so whatever you feel will provide the best control is ideal.

If you have a friend who will be happy to help, I can direct them to capture your horse’s attention to create the perfect “ears forward” pose. If not, there are still tricks we can use to help keep your horse alert.

Absolutely, please feel free to include all your four-legged friends in the shoot and even other family members. It’s your shoot, so let’s do everything we can to get the images you are going to love and treasure.
I cover the whole of the UK and therefore your location isn’t an issue. However, I may need to include a charge for travel for distances over 60 miles from my home in Cheshire.
In addition to the beautiful print in a bespoke handmade frame that you receive included in the shoot fee, you will be able to purchase other prints, either framed or otherwise, as well as choose images for an exclusive album. I will, of course, be on hand to offer you any help you may need with the design of your products. Additional high-resolution electronic images can also be purchased.
