It’s not just me that recognises Mia’s amazing talent and that of her boys. Just this year, she has been selected to be one of the 2020 Development Squad riders for the Association for British Equine as well as becoming a member of Ben Atkinson’s Action Horses. Mia’s first appearance with Ben’s team was his charity event in aid of horses effected by the wild fires of Australia. I was thrilled to be able to support her, and obviously took my camera along. Mia, Solo and Spirit did themselves proud, especially Spirit as it was only his second public performance. But this didn’t really come as a great surprise to me and of course the performance from everyone else, human and equine, was also second to none. I am now a very huge, big, fan of all of them and just can’t wait for the shows to start up again.. not least because I am waiting to see with bated breath.. just what dizzy heights Mia and her boys can reach.
